Karin joins Per-Sonat in an exploration of the development of Notre Dame polyphony. The program features excerpts from the Vatican Organum treatise, and the singers improvise lines inspired by the treatise’s examples. The program concludes with the monumental four-voice organum, Sederunt principes.
